Hello
Who's behind Infirmary Co

Infirmary Co is veteran-owned and operated, Perth Based Business.

I'm Kale Thomas. I've spent the last decade working as a Medic and Emergency Service Officer across the mining, resources & industrial sectors, responding to road crashes, trauma, fire and vertical rescue. Before that I served seven years in the Australian Army. I've also spent years on the other side of it, as a Senior Medical and Rescue Trainer and Assessor, teaching emergency response and conducting site audits.

About Infirmary Co
Why Infirmary Co exists

There isn't one answer to this. But it comes down to something I kept seeing.

Across ten years of emergency response — on mine sites, at public events, in training rooms — the same gap showed up again and again. People weren't prepared. Not because they didn't care, but because nobody had ever told them what they actually needed.

A ute with no kit in it, an hour from town. A workplace kit signed off as compliant that hadn't been opened in three years, half of it expired. Someone with a serious bleed and nothing on hand that would stop it — and no one there who knew what to do if there had been.

That gap is where people get hurt worse than they needed to. The first few minutes after an injury are usually the ones that matter most, and they almost always happen before help arrives.

Infirmary Co exists to close that gap: to help members of the public be properly prepared, and to help businesses actually meet their obligations rather than just tick a box.

What that means for you

Every product on this site has been chosen by someone who has used equipment like it under pressure — at real incidents, not in a classroom. If something is on here, it's because it works and because I'd want it in my own kit.
If you're not sure what you need, ask. That's not a sales line. Getting the right gear into the right hands is the whole reason this business exists.

What we supply

First aid, trauma and bleeding control equipment for members of the public, sporting and outdoor groups, businesses, and remote workers — from workplace-compliant kits and consumables through to catastrophic bleeding control, snake bite kits and rescue tools.

For businesses, we also offer first aid kit auditing, restocking and expiry management, because a compliant kit on paper isn't the same as a kit that's ready when someone needs it.
